Sweet Girls { Bryan / College Station Baby Photography }

These sweet girls are almost the exact same age as my girls.  Zuzu is only a couple of days younger than my Liza and Eliza is a couple of months older than Kathryn.  They were so easy to work with and really sweet.  Hope you enjoy this session as much as I did!

Brother Sister Session {Bryan / College Station Family Photography}

I am a little backed up on getting some of the fall sessions put up on the blog.  But I really enjoyed all of the sessions I did this fall and can’t wait to share them with you.

Emily contacted me about doing a session for her and her brother as Christmas gifts for their parents.  She said they hadn’t had pictures done in a while and that she didn’t want the traditional portrait session.   I was definitely up for that!  I had to brainstorm ideas for them to be together in the pictures but not make it look like an engagement session.  It worked out really well and Emily and Ryan were super fun to work with.  Thanks guys for letting me do this!

Fun Boys! {Bryan/ College Station Family Photography}

Love these boys!  This family was so fun to shoot and very natural around the camera.  We headed out to downtown Bryan for this family session only to find out that it was homecoming for Bryan High.  Downtown was pretty crazy but the kids did great and we had a lot of fun.

Meet Graham { Bryan / College Station Newborn Photographer }

Isn’t he sweet!   Little Graham came into the world 2 weeks early but I can’t image how long he would have been if he had come ‘on time.’  This little guy is long!  His mom is doing awesome and is a natural at the mommy thing.   They are such a sweet family.  I enjoyed their session a lot!  A few random notes: it turns out I had college Greek with dad (and we both survived it) and turns out they are our neighbors.  : )  Love random connections!

Meet Maddie & Issac {Bryan / College Station Engagement Photographer}

Maddie and Issac are from Oklahoma and have been planted here for the next couple of years while Issac gets is Masters degree at A&M.  They are a super sweet couple who both love the Lord.  I felt like I would have been friends with Maddie if we had gone to college together.  They are really great and I know the Lord has good things in store for them.   Here are their engagement pictures done at Royalty Pecan Farm in Caldwell.

A New Look

Over the summer, Jenn Straznicky Photography got a new look – a new logo done by the wonderful Kelley Nease.  Contact me if you would like her info!

You may be wondering why a tree?  One, I love nature and being out in nature.  Also, I think a tree is a great symbol for a family.  Two people come together and have beautiful children (the branches) and then those kids have more beautiful children and it continues to grow.  If the people who are married have a strong, thriving marriage then the tree will continue to grow and be healthy.  Lastly, in scripture a tree is used to teach us to be rooted in the Lord, and dependent on Him for growth and nourishment.

When I think about where I what to go with photography, I want to capture families, couples, and little ones.  I want the pictures I take to represent the joy and beauty there is in having a family or a strong marriage.  Also, as a believer in Christ, I want to be rooted in the Lord and grow in Him.  I want to trust Him to grow the business and see Him glorified in it.

A few other *new* things are:

  • An updated Welcome Kit in the client info section.  This will give you a great idea of how to plan and prepare for your session.

  • A Gallery Options booklet.  I am so excited about this!  It gives you lots of great ideas for how to display your portraits through out your house.  There are a variety of rooms and options for each room.  I hope this gets your imagination going! It is also in the client info section, so once you book you will be able to look through all of these options.

A small sneak peak of what the book has in it!

  • Lastly there is new pricing.  After thinking through what is really valuable about photography, I realized that I wanted to go towards professionally printed pictures.  My husband and I have been printing all of our pictures professionally and there is a significant difference.  I also wanted to make a session affordable and allow you to buy as much or as little as you would like.  I know that when you have great pictures taken, you want to show them off on Facebook or your blog so with each session there will be a CD of web sized images so that you can share your pictures.  You can check out my new pricing on the blog or on my website.

I am going to be working on Christmas Card designs so be checking back for those.  Also, I am booking for Holiday Sessions.  Shoot me an e-mail or give me a call if you are interested!
